I moved from Nelspruit to Carolina in MP & I found that MTN has no coverage at my new workplace, and my contract was specifically taken for 90% work related calls. I contacted the call centre who advised me to opt for a cancelation of contract. I mailed MTN on 23/5/13 and was told that they will come back to me within 10 days (starting 27/5). 10/6/13, I mailed again, asking for feedback, but the situation was passed on and it came to nothing. After many mails & calls, I spoke to a guy called Bongani (27/6) and explained my situation to him. He would organise me the cancelation letter and I can just hand in my handset. Again, after many phone calls, some people being rude, I got the letter (2/7). When I sent in the phone, they did not want to take it. the original phone of the contract was, but the one that I want to hand in is exactly the same make and model, and now I am waiting once again for feedback. My other alternative is to buy the contract out, which will cost me about R6200, or cancel it for free. this whole process has cost me about R4000, paying for something I cannot use. AND EVERYONE AT MTN IS IGNORING ME WHILE I PAY R935 A MONTH FORE SOMETHING I CANNOT USE!!!
