Please Restore Weekend Cover for ADSL Support

My house was struck by lightning last Wednesday and My telephone lines and ADSL modems were damaged. To Telkom's credit, they had the telephone lines fixed within 48 hours. Because of my work I could only buy a new modem and hand sets on Saturday morning. It was disconcerting to discover that the Telkom ADSL support service now stops at 8, 00PM on Friday night, and only resumes at 8:00AM on Monday. This means that I must take leave from my work on Monday to get help configuring my modem. I'm aware of four other people in my area similarly affected by the last Wednesday's lightning. What a pity that so much productive working time will be spent waiting for call centre assistance on a working day. I'm aware that Telkom is under pressure to cut costs, but I think cutting customer support time by 64.2% from 24/7 cover is overdoing it. I'd urge Telkom management to reconsider this, especially the weekend customer support. The weekends are when most working people have a chance to sort out their residential connectivity problems. In most other respects, I'm happy with Telkom.
