My Vodacom contract (15 year client) expired in December 2012 after which I have decided to give Cell C a try as they're rates are very competitive. I received my new phone and sim from Cell C early January and eventually got my Cell C contract activated. Within the first 2 days I have experience MAJOR problems where I have full signal but cannot make calls, I get a call failed screen and try again. After about 3 to 5 tries I eventually get through. I was told by the tele sales consultant that If I am not happy with my service and contract and could hand in the phone and only pay the amount for the months I have used the contract. I am still experiencing this problem to date.
I have also phoned customer support which told me to send an email to custserv to get the cancellation process started. I sent the request on the 22nd Jan 2013. Eventually after more than 2 weeks I received an email from Cell C customer services with a technical survey form. The email just stated, please fill in form and send to this email address. I immediately replied and asked what I am supposed to do with it? Got a response another week later. I still want to cancel my contract, their service is terrible!
