Cut off from Network for no reason or permission

On Friday 10 January 2014, I went to the Telkom Mobile shop to ask if i could migrate to a cheaper contract. A case was logged and they were supposed to phone me and confirm which contract I wanted to switch to. Within 24 hours (on 11 January 2014) my phone was cut off from the network. On Monday (13 January 2014) we phoned to ask what's going on and the call center operator told me that my simcard and phone number does not exist. I have been deleted from the system. After numerous phone calls to the call center and complaints at shop, nothing was done to rectify the situation. Manager at Durban call center said they would phone and give feedback on progress, but no one phoned to give any feedback on the case. It has been 12 days since my phone is off - it literally says - "The number you have dialed does not exist" when you try to phone it. My husband and I are so unhappy with Telkom Mobile's service, that we decided to cancel our contracts with them yesterday, seeing that my phone number isn't working anyway.
