Wont settle a lost phone claim

I lost my phone on the 2th of january 2014. I looked for it every where but nothing. As a result i called 808 to have it suspended and report it missing. They provided me with a itc ref number and told me to call mtn sp insurance on monday the 6th. I was on the phone for over an hour but never got through to a consultant, so I decided to go to the walk in centre in midrand for assistance. I was told to call mtn sp, I explained that i cant get through so they gave me forms to fill in and fax. I faxed the forms and whenever I check the status of my application they still havent recieved my claim forms. When ever I call 808 I get excuses of how they experiencing high call volumes and that they will get a consultant to call me back and process the claim. I was also told they having problems with they fax line too. I dont understand why my claim is taking so long to be settled cause when they debit my account its without hesitation. I also dont like how apparently theres only 4 people working at the insurance department, no wonder I can never get through. All I want is for someone anyone to help me settle my claim. Ive been claiming since the 6 till today and nothing. WHY???
