VODACOM MONEY MAKING SCHEME HOW EMBRASSING!!!

Last week I took my phone in for repairs because it kept SWITCHING on and off and they said they will fix it for me as it is still under warranty without paying anything. Yesterday I received a call from Lehlohonolo who informed me that my phone cannot be fixed because it has a crack on the display and I have to pay over R4000.00 to get my phone replaced.
I told her that my phone did not have any crack, if there was a crack it would have been noted on the form when it was booked in by Diana. She said she has to speak to her manager Freddy and call me back and she did not. Today I called them to check what was going on with the phone and they gave me the same story "saying the display is cracked".
Freddy the manager was very unhelpful and he kept giving me different stories which did not add up.
I will not pay the money because it seems like a money making scheme. What a sad reflection on such a large and once proud company - VODACOM!!!
I am really disappointed and will never recommend Vodacom to anyone ever again. My colleague reported bad service just last week about the company seems like they are really losing the plot and RIPING people off.
