Dissapointed

Telecommunications

I got a Samsung S3 at the end of March 2013. A week after I got my phone it fell, and now has a little crack in the corner of the screen. It still worked without any problems. Earlier last week my phone started switching off by itself and struggled to charge. I gave my phone in at Cape Gate Vodacom shop where I bought it. The lady at the front desk helped me and told me that I only have to pay if they need to fix the crack in the screen or if it has liquid damage. They send my phone away to the repair center, and about 3 days later phoned me to tell me that I have to pay R 1849.83 to fix the screen before they can fix my phone. They also told me that the phone's warranty is void because it fell, and I have to pay to fix the software problems as well. No one told me that when I bought the phone?

They sent my phone back, without even checking what the problem is. I am very disappointed. What is the use of the phone's warranty anyway?

I know that the phone has 2 years warranty, only the screen of the phone isn't included?

I got bad serves and am tempted to cancel my account with Vodacom. I never had any problems with them but since this incident I am not happy
