Absolutely poor service with no feedback

I submitted an online request to Telkom in November to cancel my telephone line. I went on holiday for a month in December and when I returned in January my line was still active. I called Telkom (took 23 minutes to get through!!!). I asked the lady what I needed to do to cancel the line and transfer another line into my name and she said I needed to send an email to [Email Removed] with all the relevant documentation. I did this on 14 January. I did not receive any feedback (not even so much as confirmation that my email was received). I called Telkom again on 21 January (took me 32 minutes to get through this time!!!). Unfortunately I was connected to the worst call centre agent I have ever encountered - Michelle Adams. It took Michelle... wait for it... 45 minutes!!! to look on the system and submit another instruction to cancel my line and transfer another line into my name (as I'm moving end of January). Total time on the phone this time - 1h17 minutes!!! She said a Telkom representative would call me back on Wednesday, 22 January. It is now Thursday, 23 January and I haven't heard anything. I refuse to call again to spend an hour on the phone.
