Shame on you, Samsung and Cell C!

My daughter had been in a dispute with Samsung Electronics SA
since October 2013. She bought a faulty Samsung Galaxy S4 phone at Cell C shop Eikestad Mall. Case nr 7112115399. Neither Cell C nor Samsung is willing to sort out the problem. The complaint was lodged in the first week of purchase. The phone was sent back and returned with the message - nothing wrong with it. All contacts and photos were deleted. When she received it back, the phone still had to be charged twice a day, while getting very hot - obviously a faulty battery - to start with. A faulty battery import was confirmed by a person taking one of the phone calls made to a number of people.
The phone had now been sent back a second time, while Bradley Chetty (Johannesburg office) plays a cat and mouse game of mostly ignoring our calls and making empty promises. 25 emails had been sent and many phone calls made. Many picked up and immediately dropped.
My daughter needs a reliable phone in her job and because of a serious medical condition. She keeps on honouring her Cell C contract while both companies are breaking the contract. Shame on you! Neither of these two are to be recommended to anybody!
