BIS Terrible speeds on 3G mobile phone

I bought my blackberry 9300 on vodacom prepaid, to use it on BIS free internet services! Its been working perfect no download issues, no speed issues! 3 weeks again I had terrible slow internet speeds! I left it 3 weeks ago thinking its just the network, tried again tonight and same issue, what's going on! How can there be a speed issue on a 3g enabled hand set, I might as well have got a blackberry 8520! This is impossible, I remove the battery, done everything I could think possible to correct the problem and no luck! This is not a BIS problem as for my BBM is working perfect and emails! I am in a perfectly well 3g area full bars and still no luck! I have been reading numerous complaints as for vodacom throttles the BIS after a certain bandwidth how is that possible, there is nothing stating capped, only uncapped BIS service! I want my hand set to work like a 3g enabled not an EDGE mobile phone otherwise I would of got a EDGE mobile phone!
