Nashua Mobile
Now it's my problem

Telecommunications

About two months ago my phone started giving me hassles accepting my sim card in the sim slot. I took my phone to Nashua Mobile Sandton and explained to them what's happening. I, not knowing what the cause was, accepted a sim swop as the solution. A couple of weeks later I took the sim out again and upon attempting to put it back in NORMALLY, the sim slot did not want to take it. I took the phone back to Nashua Mobile Sandton. The service consultant tried inserting the sim and could not either. The phone was booked in (no loan phone by the way. You really have to throw your toys to get one) and I received feedback from them today. Apparently it will cost me R3000 to get the phone fixed. A pin in the sim slot has bent (How it might have bent I still don't know). Here's the best part, I according to them, should have brought the phone to them BEFORE the pin bent! Is that not what I did when the sim slot started giving me issues originally?
Now they are making it my problem, but had they booked it in when I started experiencing the issues earlier it probably would have been picked up that there was a loose pin or something and it would have been fixed under warranty...
