For the past 2 weeks, I've had problems with my Telkom ADSL internet. I've phoned in a couple of times, and every consultant gives me a different story - some of them refreshes my connection, others tell me it's a problem with the international vendors. After submitting a fault online, a guy called me and explained everything to me (helpful). My problem is with 1. I had to buy data from another company just so I can use my internet due to SUPER SLOW internet from Telkom. I have to pay Telkom almost R900 every month, and this is what I get! I've got premium streaming subscriptions, gaming subscriptions, etc that I PAID but CANNOT use due to this problem. 2. My 4Mbs was upgraded to 10Mbs, but the exchange port is too far from my home to use it, so I wanted to downgrade to 2Mbs, which is now 4Mbs (why pay for 10Mbs when I only get 4Mbs?) - I've tried calling ALOT of times, and have to wait ~20 minutes just for an operator. The last 2 calls I decided to actually wait for someone to pick up (18 to 25 minutes for a consultant) - they put me on hold and then after waiting for about 5 to 10 minutes, the phone just goes dead. This is unprofessional and disappointing!
