Upgrade but no phone delivered!!!

I received a call two weeks ago from MTN offering to upgrade my contract over the phone.
I went through the process with the consultant who told me my phone would be delivered within one week.
More than a week has passed and no phone has been delivered to me!!!

I also told the consultant that I DO NOT want any additional services to be added to my contract.
Today I received an email from [URL Removed] asking me to activate my account.
I clearly told the consultant that I did not want that service!!! or any other extra service!

I called MTN direct today to query all of this. The lady said that the upgrade was not handled by MTN Direct but an external call center. This was not explained to me by the consultant who did my upgrade.
Seriously MTN, what is going on???

I wish I had done my upgrade in-store and not over the phone to avoid all of this nonsense and confusion!
