Even as I am writing this, I know I will probably not get a response because MTN does not really care but its worth a try. I have had a contract since Sept 13 but from the time I signed communication is almost impossible. My airtime and data disappears randomly. When I phone, the automated options tells me my cell phone is invalid and ends the call. When I phoned the 173 number today I had to say goodbye after speaking to 8 consultants and they were all taking me from pillar to post with no proper feedback or help. Its very sad that because I am at the bottom of the food chain so besides trying to explain the same thing over and over again- I just have to cry and get over it because nothing or anyone is bothered to do anything about it and they are already such a big corporate that one frustrated (and possibly two or three other people in my circle) wont make any difference to their GDP. So sad and hopeless but at least I feel a little better- will probably get over it after my getting my salary so I can top up on my own till next month again when I get my next airtime package loaded then we start the whole process again, again but anyway two years is not that long isn't it?
