Cell C leaking numbers

Since I have subscribed to Cell C I have been getting spam messages, I currently have 2 contracts both receiving the same messages day after day.

On one message I opened it subscribed me to smart call costing me over R500 a month, Cell C said they can't stop it and it takes a month to cancel. When I questioned them on how they got my number, they first said the problem is not on their side, but after I told them my data contract of whom no one has the number gets the same messages they said management is looking into it.

I suggest that anyone thinking of switching to cell c must think carefully, your number will be leaked!
