STOP SENDING ME SMS FOR STUPID COMPETITIONS

Used to be with Cell C - moved contRact to another provider because of pathetic service. Now getting SMS for stupid competitions with no option of an opt out. have not been with Cell C for over 4 years!! Phoned into Cell C and was told by the agent that my number would be removed and I would no longer receive SMS messages. Notwithstanding the assurances that I would not receive any further messages, I am still receiving non stop SMS messages - STOP SENDING THEM TO ME CELL C!!! How can Cell C be allowed to send Spam without the option of an OPT OUT?? Surely this cannot be legal??
