Its been 24 hours, and I have phoned Vodacom 8 times to have 1 person tel me:

1. Yes that is the correct name for the product
2. Yes this is how everything works

Shannon Steenkamp at the data call center for vodacom was the only person I spoke to that even knew what was going on. I am horrified that after 8 calls and 20 transfers that only 1 person could help me understand a SIMPLE request about the 3g modem I own.

Half the time it felt like I knew more than the 3 managers I spoke to. 1 manager asked to be excuses to call the helpdesk, because he did not know you could buy a data bundle of the vodacom website.

There chat line through the website, is horrid, I was told they don't support buying through a credit card. Not 2 weeks ago I bought of the website.

and did again later on today, now that the website is back online.

Train your people, or get Shannon to train the staff.

PLEASE promote Shannon Steenkamp as he is a valuable and wonderful employee.
