Insurance department shocking

For the last week and a half, I have been trying to reach MTN insurance to insure a new handset sent to me (by them).
I have been on hold for two hours at a time per day, with absolutely no-one answering my calls. I have contacted the call centre for a landline, been told they wouldn't answer that, and now sent them two messages via the call center to contact me - nothing. (In fairness though, they would only have got one message, as the first Mtn call center person I spoke to about insuring my phone sent the request to the credit department for some amazing reason. Ref numbers:107852778 and 107967582).
On top of this, i have been being billed for insurance the last eight months for a handset they paid me out for as it was too water damaged to repair! Now how is that possible if I did not give them a new IMEI number? That policy should have been cancelled.
I am tired of paying premiums when I don't have, and now for the wrong phone, and i am especially irritated that the same people who happily take my money every month can't have the courtesy to return my calls.
I have been with MTN for 15y, and am considering holding them in breach and moving to another network.
