After about 2 weeks of rediculously slow internet speeds (max 1.8mb/s on a 10mb/s line) i decided to call Telkom. i've called them plenty of times in the past, and i've noticed there are 2 kinds of consultants: the rare one or two that actually try to help, and those who give generic responses. i was lucky enough to end up with the helpful kind, and he boosted my line speed up to 3.8mb/s somehow. unfortunately, after that, the call was cut, and i ended up at one of the other kinds. I tried to explain my story, but she refused to hear any of it, interrupting me and arguing with me. after arguing about my line speed with her for a good 20 minutes, she decided she was tired of me, and said she was going to transfer me to the supervisor. instead i ended up sitting there for a full hour waiting and listening to her breathe, and eventually she dropped my call. not proffessional at all. i got on the phone with telkom at 4:30 PM. i gave upat 7:30PM.
