Samsung 40"tv contract deal incorrectly advertised

I honestly never had a problem with MTN. Always had good service from them. This complaint is done purely out of principle and to warn others to be careful.

Beginning of December I saw in the trader the deal MTN has for a Samsung 40" 3D Tv with a router for R 350. and i thought wow ok this will work for me. The salesperson at the MTN shop also went on about what a great TV deal this is etc. At long last everything was approved and signed and he said he will get down to ordering both items. a week later i went to fetch the router and was then informed oh no the advertising was wrong it is not a 3d tv but a lower model and i must sign to accept. Was not too phased as i did not want to go through the whole application process somewhere else...

My issue is that i see on this site people have been complaining about this since a few months ago this means MTN never even bothered to fix their ads nor inform their stores. Now one must just accept the lower quality tv than you applied for. Id like to know why is this? And should the pricing then not also be adjusted?

This is mos False Advertising is it not?
