ADSL dataline died and was reported on 20 December. Reference number allocated.
Follow-up on 21 December indicated fault was at network level and will be resolved there.
Several enquiries followed, each time to be informed that fault has been escalated and network division will contact me with feedback. None was ever received.
Today, 19 days without service, I still have no indication as to when service will be restored. My latest enquiry only resulted in a new (!) reference number.
Ironically I received my Telkom account today to pay for a service which I have not received and there is no way I can escalate the issue to a suitable level of management. All I have is the firewall of the call centre beyond which I cannot get.
Chances are that this complaint will only generate yet another meaningless reference number wihout action just as a similar complaint on HelloPeterr did last week.
Shame on you, Telkom!
