Invoiced for December when the contact was upgrade

On the 18 of December 2013, I contacted Cell C asking them why did they debit my account for a contact that was upgraded. A lady by the name of Nompumelelo Zungu told me that my query has been logged, gave me a reference number and then informed me that i will be contact with 24 to 48 hours to resolve this problem. Then on the 23 December when I had figured out that the time has expired for Cell C to contact me I called them again, a lady name Portia said she will call me back and no one did, i then called back and asked to speak to someone who can resolve this issue, i was then put through to Skhumbuzo Ndlovu, who even sent me an email regarding my account, informing me it was a mistake and my account will be credited, then the billing department contacted me telling me they will have to investigate the matter to see if i received the airtime, I said ok. On the 2 January i received a sms stating I received the airtime and I am liable for this account, I have not even received the statement or proof of this information and i would like to know how and why?
