I have been logging complaints about a slow line with Telkom Internet from the 07Dec13, Refs: 372CTK071213, 195CTK081213, 200CTK081213, 979CTK091213, 221CTK241213. Each of these have been closed and even though I spoke to the call centre (who hung up calls in certain cases), the service still remains and the message I received is the speed is fine. Yesterday I tried an internet account with Afrihost, and everything sped up immediately, which points to Telkom as an ISP. Also Afrihost was quick to sort out queries, etc. whilst Telkom took a few days per query, so turnaround time was poor as well. I am at a point where I would like the ISP portion cancelled immediately and I want to be refunded for the 'non-delivery' for December as well. The whole process has been extremely poor from Telkom's side and to this date I still have poor speeds on a 4MB line. Please resolve, cancel and refund my account.
