Number change and lack of feedback problem

On Saturday 29 December 2013 I requested one of my numbers on contract to be changed. I was informed that it would be completed within 24 Hours. Since then the number has been changed on the billing side (partial information available from Vodacom self help site) but the original number is still working and not the new one. Much too many phone calls and promises of getting back to me has led to me writing this letter. I am disappointed in the number of people that promised to get back to me and not doing so. I needed the number to be changed for a specific reason THEN. Over a week later and no joy, no feedback.
