Terrible service delivery

I have been a Vodacom subscriber for over 17 years. After been exposed to MTN's advertising propaganda I decided to move my contract to MTN. I visited The Glen branch and first had to wait in a Que for over 50 minutes. Thereafter I was attended to by a lady by the name of Madonna Issa, my paperwork was in order and my credit record was excellent, therefore I assumed that the process would be trouble free. However this was not the scenario. I was assured by Madonna that the application would be processed by 11am. Madonna also provided me with her cellular number if I required any further assistance. I tried calling her on this number over 20 times but either it rang or went into voicemail. I then decided to go back to The Glen branch at 15h00 and was assured by Madonna that she will provide feedback by 17h00. At 18h30 I once again called the number provided (9 times) but once again it rang or went into voicemail.
This is not the type of service that I expect i.e. calling a number over 29 times, two visits to the branch and non-existent feedback from the MTN staff. It appears that MTN is effective on its advertising but lackadacious with service delivery.
