MTN, ignoring customers is the norm

Good morning
I upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S4 at East Rand Mall on the 14th of Aug 2013, I was told that it is LTE capable and to my surprise I found out in Oct when the MTN S4 LTE network was released that it is not. The person who sold me the phone is Darren Harris. I have tried making contact with him and the branch for more than THREE months now. I moved out of Johannesburg in Sept and was not able to go back to the store since. I still to this day have not once talked to anyone there nor have they tried making contact with me. This is how MTN operates: by IGNORING its customers. I've been with MTN for a long time, this is not new. I contacted Kagiso on MTNs side. After countless calls, messages and emails to customer care, the mall and the branch as well as visits to MTN stores the message was unanimous, I was told they could do nothing for me. They are of the opinion I have to make the 300 km drive back to Boksburg! According to MTN they can't reach their own branch either. Kagiso helped me to get my phone send in on the 5th of Nov 2013 to be replaced with a LTE capable version. It has been more than 8 weeks now and I still have not received anything back from MTN.
