The most pathetic service!!!

I have been a loyal MTN customer for a number of years. Yesterday my phone started giving my probems, and is no longer fully functional. As i use my phone very often for business it is vital that i am available. I then went to Mtn to ask when i was due for an upgrade and the gentleman told me it is in March. I asked him if i could pay anything in to get the upgrade earlier, he said i could not.
Isaid i should call Mtn's retention division and they maybe able to assist. I then called and spoke to gentleman who kept me hoding for half the conversation. He then transfered me where i waited on the line for 15 minutes.

I then hung up. I cannot believe that eventhough i have with Mtn for number of years that means nothing. I would any provider would want to bend over backwards to help a customer, with Mtn this is obviously not the case, they would rather lose a customer than allow an earlier upgrade.

I would like to cancel my contract and know whats outstanding on balance on the phone as i would like to pay this off.

I would rathef move to a provider that values customer service and is interested in retaining loyal and good customers.
