I took out a contract with 8ta Connect /- 2 and half years ago. During this period i defaulted once and the service was suspended. I then went back to using my pre-paid sim and did not bother to check if the service was ever re-connected. Once the subscription fees was received from my bank account i still did not check to follow-up if the service was re-connected. i just kept paying and waiting for the contract to expire and then i will be having peace of mind. I notices in July this year that a total of R723 and a few cent was deducted from my bacnk account. I still did not understand why and thought it was a mistake that the bank would rectify soon. i work in a stressfull enviroment and never had chance to check with the subscriber why all these deductions when the contract expired April 2013? In Novermber 2013 i called and demanded explinations and refunds as this was . i demanded to have a manager contact me and to date this too never happened.i was told that the contract will be cancelled for me in November and 27/12/13 received an sms that R138.50 was deducted from my bank account. THIS IS!!! I DEMAND A REFUND OR CONSUMER RIGHTS WILL BE BROUGHT IN!!!
