No phone but still being billed!

After speaking with a call centre agent I decided to upgrade my contract... the agent I spoke to informed me that it would be possible to upgrade and transfer to my existing alternate phone number. The agent personally assured me this was possible, he even provided me with his personal contact number to get the transfer done.

After receiving my phone and trying to get the number transferred, I was abruptly informed that would NOT be possible. I promptly returned the brand new phone to the Chatsworth branch in Durban and cancelled the contract. To this day (19 Dec 2013), the phone has not been picked up and I presume I am going to be billed for a service I have not received.

I tried speaking to many people at Autopage by phone, emailed Autopage and left a voice message... but am still unable to contact anyone who can actually do something positive. Let's hope this post can be the turning point!
