13 dec, I get my new phone as part of an upgrade, 14 dec, I get a micro sim for my new phone, 16 dec (today)' the touch screen on my new cell stops working. I call 111 so that they can possibly reactivate my old sim so I can use it on my old cell (as all I have now is a Micro sim that works but no phone to support it). The service from the consultant was terrible, I request to speak to a supervisor who calls me back later. In the interim, I waste time &money by going to vodacom at columbine square who have the audacity to tell me that I can only reactivate my old sim by paying for a sim swap now and then paying again when my broken cell is fixed. What hogwash?! As a principle why should I have to spend a cent when none of these issues are my fault? Why did a brand new cell fail me so early? 111 supervisor calls me back, she too was useless. I explained that since the fault is within 7 days, the least vodacom can do is send a courier to fetch my cell so that I don't waste More time and money when I am not at fault. She refused to help! I'm very disappointed at the situation. Call me ASAP pls.u need to send a courier ASAP. I need a new cell and I don't have a phone at the moment!!
