Unauthorised debit on my bank account

On the 1st of December 2013 my bank account was debited for the amount of R1852.44 which was for a handset I never received. I cancelled my contract on the 10 September 2013 and Virgin confirmed by email.
I do have proof by email that the handset was returned to the warehouse.
Since 1 December I contact them every day by telephone and email. I spoke to different people at customer care every time but I do have names and reference numbers. Every time they told me that the financial department will refund me. But still after 16 days nothing has happened.
I want my money back in my bank account.
I feel deceived.
