I am an existing client who has had his voice line for about 2yrs. I recently (5-12-13) converted over to ADSL by taking the Simple package offer that Telkom has advertised. I have received activation sms informing to pick up my wifi-modem and dongle from the Telkom store. I did so and began the self installation that I was told to do, something i did not request. I successfully installed the wi-fi modem, however the data is not being received and sent, therefore I cannot connect to the net.
Since Monday 9-12-2013, I have made more than 10 calls to the call centre and spoke to, Alfred, David, Moipane, Boipelo, Melle, Mandla, Hazel, Cleopatra, Anna, Sophie, Mary, Bhule, Winnie and Emily. I have received numerous number of fault and escalation messages, but no help!!!
I have received different solutions from all of the above people and none have worked. Clear incompetence and no idea how to resolve my query.
I have been inconvenienced and left very frustrated.
In my last phone call this evening (13-12-13) I have been asked again to call the contact centre again for more help... my feeling is I wont get any!!!
TELKOM has surely disappointed in every way possible
