I AM FORCED TO SUBMIT THIS COMPLAINT AS MTN IS IGNORING ME:

I am an MTN account holder.

I am currently in New Zealand and my mother is using the phone number/SIM on my Anytime 350 TopUp account/contract.

She is experiencing problems with the airtime credit going lost/missing every month.

She had previously accumulated a large amount of airtime that just suddenly went missing.

She was then told by an MTN store assistant that it was because the airtime expired.

Then the last month or so the same happened with the "new" airtime that was loaded each month.

She has switched off all services (like 3G) and also disabled all updates to her phone.

She has now even stopped using the phone altogether, making no calls, no messages and not using the internet.

Still the balance keeps showing R0.01 a day or so after the airtime was loaded.

Can MTN please tell me where the airtime credit that she is supposed to receive (and that I pay for every month) is "leaking" to?? Surely a phone (WITH ALL SERVICES DISABLED) cannot use up airtime of R350 in such a short time??

This is very frustrating.

Since complained about this via the customer care e-mail system, but I am being ignored...
