DISGUSTING service to a loyal customer of 5 years

I've been a loyal customer of Vodacom for 5 years with a monthly spend of approximately R1000 a month over that period.

I just upgraded to what was supposed to be the best technology available - the iPhone 5S and I upgraded to a premium Red Advantage package.

1. Firstly Vodacom about having the device available by the 19th of nov. I only got the phone a weeklater after threatening to cancel. Meanwhile, a friend on MTN made a new application and received the same phone the very next day!!!

2. Then, I eventually get the phone and it works for 3 days. Then absolutely no signal. Customer care says that it is a general problem with iPhone 5S on Vodacom and that technicians are looking at it. More empty promises!!!

3. As of today, I have had no service on my brand new phone for a total of 5 days. Called customer care. Now I need to wait up to 48 hours for my call to be escalated. Sounds like EVEN more empty promises!!!

Everyone around me has the new iPhone 5S from MTN yet I stayed loyal and now I am a laughing stock with the equivalent of a brand new useless device!!!

Tell me Vodacom, "Am I an important customer to you? If so, what are you going to do to resolve this?
