I got your response and the reference is REQ:2998448. I feel that my rights as a customer were violated. According to the national credit regulator (NCR) it stipulates that you as the insurer have to make me aware of the policy and explain to me as the customer the terms and conditions of the insurance or credit. If only your consultants made me aware of such, I wouldn't have used the vodacom simcard. Well it seems as if you as the insurer just assumes that every customer is aware of the conditions, which I feel that it is wrong especially when every month I was paying the insurance because I thought my phone was insured and need not to worry. I never thought that your service would bethis poor and inconsiderate of your customers rights.

Yes it is part of your policy for a customer to use an MTN sim card, I am not denying that fact. However, as I stated before in my previous report, I was not aware of your policy or your conditions as the consultant responsible did not let me know. So I believed I should not be held responsible for the incompetence of your staff. All I want is for my phone to be replaced and would also like to advice that you train your staff well.
