Just sent this to Afrihost, but after 22 days of dealing with them, I doubt it will wake them up - maybe Hello Peter can. "I contacted Afrihost on 7 November to set up an account and requested that you manage the transition to ADSL with Telkom. Between then and 26 November, I called three times to monitor progress (having seen little on ClientZone), and was given a different story on each occasion. It took my final call on the 26th to get you folks to do what you promised, and manage the process - so finally, some action, even if it took me with a cattle prod in your back to get it done. I may as well have dealt directly with Telkom. The same evening (26th) I tried to connect at home - no luck. As I ran out of time, I tried again on the 27th - and still no luck. After a long call with the very patient Michael at your end, it was decided that the modem was faulty. It was picked up the next day. I assumed that it would be replaced automatically. That didn't happen - so I called today, and after 10 minutes it was clear that nothing had been done to replace it. I was promised a call to report on progress - 2 hours ago. How long does it take to order one, and call me back?
