In August this year MWEB requested me to update my contact details. I informed them that I no longer required their service and they consequently switched off my service with IMMEDIATE EFFECT. MWEB however continued to charge me for the service so I contacted them accordingly. They informed me that the "cancellation" had not been submitted to the correct department and I would have to continue paying until the end of November. I told them that this situation is not acceptable but have got nowhere after several emails and a telephone call to their office. How can a Company switch off their service and continue charging for 3 months!
