A week ago I was called by a lady from mondo mobile, a company outsourced by vodacom to call their customers who are ready for upgrades. This lady had then told me that the iPhone 5s is in SA and would I like to upgrade my contract to which I said yes. We went through all the regulatory steps and she assured me that my new device would be delivered to me within in 7 days. Last week Friday I get an SMS to say that the deal has been cancelled, I called mondo mobile and spoke to ryan who could not explain to me what had happened and said he would escalate the problem and I would hear from them later that day. I still have not heard anything. How does vodacom outsource a useless company to their business? I will be taking my business to another service provider because this is actually pathetic. I had also had a handset booked aside for me at an vodacom outlet and they called to say it was ready and it old them not to worry, the handset was being delivered to me and I had done the upgrade already. Pathetic. Useless
