HANDSET NOT WORKING AGAIN

In April 2013 I bought a new phone from Vodacom, which gave technical problems from May, I then went to vodacare East gate, I was then advise to restart it every morning and take out the battery for few minutes more often "because it's a smart phone"
In July, the phone was completely not working I then took it back to Vodacare Eastgate and I was given a new battery, and a lady from Samsung phoned me a week later to check if my phone was working, I then told her that I'm not completely satisfied as I was still experiencing technical problems with it, having to restart the phone in order for me to receive emails and what'sapp notifications is nonsense.

on 24th Nov, my phone was acting up again, now it kept on saying "charging" while the phone was not on a charger, couldn't make calls or receive calls, as usual I restarted it, and when the problem was still not solved I then took out the battery and that was the END of it! I kept on trying to switch it on, put on the battery in and take it out it but no difference.
What is the use of taking the phone back to vodacare if I will be given a demo battery that will last me for another 4 months, I bet I was given a samsung demo phone
