Be it luck or just bad service but after a week, 3 store visits, numerous excuses, just as many phone calls, one hang up (store hung up on me) and a mix up of what I wanted - I still don't have my phone.

Initially dealing with Danielle who promised a smooth and easy transition; there was a problem with a proof of address, then after being told my phone was ready, I arrived only to be told there was now a problem with the sim swap. That was Wednesday. On Saturday I walk in only to be told that my number still hasn't been cleared with head office - but on closer inspection of the phone it wasn't even the one I wanted; the one I wanted was out of stock. (This is where I am now dealing with Claremont) Furious at this point, I was sent home and told to call on Sunday. I called on Sunday and greeted with "I am dealing with a customer, I'll call you back". No call backs. I called a total of 18 times (store and Claremont's number). When the call is FINALLY picked up I felt more like I was the one in trouble, only to be hung up on. Granted fault at all doors, but R500 pm and I am harshly discovering whether or not to just quit on MTN. I merely wanted to be updated on proceedings.
