Over 2 months ago i took my blackberry in for repairs to vodacom, since it was switching itself off for some time.it had been doing this for about 4 months before i took it in.i thought that this was a standard blackberry problem as i know of people with similar issues. vodacom told me that it was water damage on the phone (apparently they are telling most clients this now). i told them that it is impossible as my phone has never been in water. not even in the bathroom when i shower. this was the second phone i had received on this contract as the first phone also needed to be replaced about a few months earlier due to it being faulty.the outlet was being renovated and i asked if its possible that the replacement phone might have received liquid damage before i received it due to the construction. the technician told me its impossible and the phone wouldnt be working for so long. but it was working for about 4 months leading up to me bringing it in with this fault. when i looked at cancelling my contract, vodacom wants to charge me over R2 000 with 9 months remaining. the cellphone portion of my contract is about R70. so what is the other R13 00 for? AVOID contracts with vodacom
