No replacement of faulty I-Pad3

In December 2012 we purchased an Apple I-Pad3 from the Vodashop in Riverside Mall, Nelspruit.
At the beginning of October 2013 it prompted us to download IOS7 after which the device did not work. On 6th October I took it to the Vodashop at Riverside Mall. They sent it to the Core to be fixed. The Core sent it back, with no notifications at all only for us to find out it was still broken. We eventually managed to disable the 'find my I-phone' thing on I-Cloud.
When we received the device back from the Core, my husband noticed that there was damage to the corners of the I-Pad which was not there before. I called the core and a gentleman at their call centre told me it arrived damaged. We know the device was not damaged when we handed it in, the receiving person who sent it to the Core also noted no damage to the device.
Now the Core wants us to pay for a new one and Vodacom can't halp as they are 'only an agent' for Apple even though our contract is with Vodacom!! I am also complaining about Apple as the device stopped working upon download of the new software.
We are still paying Vodacom for the device and want a new device to be sent to us asap. Held on 20mins to NO RESPONSE!
