Non-existant service to contract customer

I am the breadwinner and totally dependant on internet access. I moved to an area with very weak connection in January 2013. I live in a security complex and most of the occupants are Vodacom customers. One of them lodged a complaint early in the year and a VodacomTechnician came to test the signal. He told me about a repeater that Vodacom has available to enhance your signal He stated that these are given out for free to contract customers with significant use. He was going to come back to us with more info - we never heard from him again. I started making phone calls and sending e-mails daily. For a while I received response, mainly saying that they are looking into the matter. Then it all stopped. When I sent another e-mail I received a phone call to advise me to be patient until they erect a tower in this area. I work for an American company and everything is internet based. I cannot Skype or watch videos they send me. To open their website to which I have to submit my work, takes at least 30 min. That is on the days when I can actually get any kind of connection. The only concern Vodacom seems to have is making sure I settle my account, whether I am able to use my databundle or not
