A phone that keeps crashing

I have two HTCs (different models) set up identically. One works perfectly. The other one is a joke. Because all Vodacom ever did was flash the phone - even when I explained that I'd been in contact with the supplier directly and had already flashed it without resolving the problem it has never been resolved - even when the manufacturer agreed that it was definitely malfunctioning and replaced the motherboard.

Usually the contacts storage crashes, sometimes the entire phone. It makes calling, texting and using any other functionality relying on the contacts storage impossible. So much so that when I was called to ask if I would like more minutes, I almost died laughing.

It's erratic and it's exasperating. The most recent incident let my phone continue to ring for 7 minutes after I'd cancelled the call before it crashed. I took a photo to prove it.

No one seems to appreciate that the phone only fails erratically with the phone book set up, and flashing doesn't help because it removes the phone book. As a phone the device is useless. Everything else (maps/email etc) works fine. I really need another phone, I cannot be critically failed multiple times a week. Please email.
