Upgraded my phone at Vodacom 4 U in August 2013 - since then its been in for repairs twice - first on 11/09 when the phone just went dead and the second on 11/11 when the phone could not detect the sim card. I have told both the store and vodacom direct via email and customer care that I do not want the phone back as it is faulty and would like it replaced with a new phone. The store says they cannot do anything as they are awaiting authorisation from Vodacom. My first contact with Vodacom direct was when I responded 'no' to an sms asking if I was happy with their service. A consultant, Ronelle, called me and I explained the situation. She said she would "escalate" the matter and call the store and call me back - she did neither! Then I tried emailing via their website to which they responded twice requesting info which I duly gave them and then nothing, no further communication! I then called the customer care line 082111 & 0821958, explained the situation again to the person who put me on hold while he called Vodacom 4 U. The call got cut and he never called back. I have job card numbers and reference numbers for the emails and sms. I am paying for a phone which I don't have...
