In November 2011 I took out a data contract with 8ta. absolute worst mistake EVER! I was being sent two accounts to my residential address for the first few months, but I only opened one. In early 2012 they told me I had a problem with my billing and my banking details were incorrect so they couldn't take the due amount but the call centre useless people said that everything was correct! By March 2012 they cancelled my account without informing me and by June 2012 I was being debited for outrageous amounts, even though my now 'cancelled' contract was for R199pm. Thus after all their incompetence in stuffing everything up, they started from me. Twitter eventually made them wake up and all of a sudden miraculously it was corrected, my account was confirmed closed and I told them they can go shove their service, incompetence and data. That was the last I heard from them. November 2013, I receive an sms that my outstanding account has been sent to their lawyers. Where do you get off stuffing up my account, from me and 'fixing it' and still have the ordasity over a year later, to accuse me of owing them money which was 'fixed' months ago.
