I have recently taken out 2 seperate contracts with telkom. One for a mobile phone and one a data contract so I now spend roughly R450 a month with them. When I took out the contract I specifically asked the consultant if I had 3G coverage as I did with vodacom which they checked and guaranteed me my area was covered. I have never had 3G coverage at my property or even in my area since I got these contracts.i have been calling the call centre and even went to the stores to get an engineer to come and test the reception but to no avail.only response I keep getting is it will take 7 days and someone will call u back from the technical dept... but that never happens.i think I have reached my wits end. No 3G and poor network coverage and not even a call to apologise. Last call I made on wed the manager said he would log the incident but to my knowledge I thought it had already been logged 6 calls before that one. He said the case had been closed due to the fact that they could not get hold of me but he seemed to gey back to me just fine to tell me they would one again call me by yesterday and guess what... no call yet again
