I upgraded my contract in October with the 808 call centre. Everything was done successfully and I was assured that the phone would be delivered in 5-7days. On the 5th day, no delivery and I called and was told that the phone had not been sent to the courier. On day 7 I was told that I will definitely get the phone the following week and that the phone had been sent to the courier. Nothing! After numerous calls and threats of cancellation, the ball was finally rolling. Two days later I was informed that the 32g iphone was out of stock and was I willing to take a 16G iphone. Why after two weeks and a being told that the phone was sent to the courier? How unprofessional. My number was taken on numerous accounts to contact me, no one did. Had I not persisted, I wouldn't even have known. Im seriously disappointed in mtn. I must downgrade because of a mess up theyve made? And no return calls. Im honestly considering cancelling my contracts wth mtn if im not satisfied. Now ive been upgraded to a open line with no phone & will probably also have to pay for this once my invoice is issued. The service is seriously putrid and unprofessional
