8ta cannot understand or fix my problem

I signed a 24 month 8ta Promo 5 contract in February 2012. Together with the contract I bought a 8ta Huawei E367 dongle and a Telkom D-Link 2750U 3g router. I did all of this in the same store and they assured me the combination of devices will work. Everything worked well until 2 weeks ago. Now whenever I plug the dongle in the router I get a message: NETWORK NOT FOUND or NETWORK NOT REGISTERED. I have been on the phone for hours now explaining to 8ta that I cannot use my 3G data contract. They told me yesterday that I should take all my devices to an 8ta store for assistance. I just returned from the store where I bought everything and they told me they cannot provide assistance. So yet again 8ta waisted my time and I have to pay for a service I cannot use. I also live in a 3G covered area, but the best signal I pick up 90% of the time is an EDGE signal which is useless. 8ta is therefore not accurate with their coverage map and sold me a product which clearly does not perform as promised by 8ta. I cannot use this contract anymore and would like to cancel it. I WANT a letter from 8ta head office ASAP; confirming that I may cancel the contract without any additional charges.
