Terrible service and installation delays

To whom it may concern,

I have applied for an ADSL installation at my home in August 2013. After 3 months of being kept in the dark about my order status I finally received an sms stating that the installation was scheduled for the 13th of November 2013. I received this text on the 11th of November. I replied to the text to inform them that the day of the installation suits me and I made arrangements to get off work when they arrive at my home.

I called the service centre early in the morning to find out if there's a specific time they will arrive and if they will notify me. The operator informed me that they would contact me directly when they arrive for the installation.By 16:30 that afternoon I still had no contact from telkom. I decided to call the service centre again to find out whats happening.

Firstly the operator told me that my order number doesnt exist. Then he told me the installation was scheduled for the 12th of November (the previous day). I read him the text telkom sent me, then he told me the technicians were at my home at 10:20 on the 13th November 2013 and that they decided to cancel my order due to spares.

This is getting extremely frustrating.
